Describe a video or image skill and download a SKILL.md your coding agent can follow. Nothing you type leaves your browser.
What goes in a good skill
An agent reads a skill's name and description first, and uses them to decide whether the skill fits the request. So the description has to say both what the skill makes and when to use it. If it is vague, your agent may never open the skill.
The rest of the file is instructions, so write what you'd tell a new colleague: what to ask for, the steps in order, and how to check the result. The last part matters most for video, where a render can finish without errors and still look wrong.
How to install it
Put the file in a folder with the same name as the skill, inside your agent's skills folder. For Claude Code, that can be:
.claude/skills/your-skill-name/SKILL.mdThen start a new session and ask for what the skill makes. For a finished example, read one of our free skills onthe skills page. To learn more about the format, see our HyperFrames guide and theAgent Skills specification.

Questions
- What is a SKILL.md file?
- A Markdown file with a short header that tells an AI coding agent what a skill does and when to use it, followed by instructions. It is the Agent Skills format, published at agentskills.io.
- Which agents can use the skill?
- Agents that support the Agent Skills format, including Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Each one has its own skills folder, so check your agent's docs for where the file goes.
- Is anything sent to Glidezo?
- No. The file is made in your browser and no AI model is involved. When you download a file, we add one to a daily count, which holds nothing about you or your skill.
- Will the skill work straight away?
- It gives your agent a valid structure and your instructions, so it is a starting point. Try it on a real request, then improve the steps where the agent goes wrong.
