A product page with a video holds attention longer than one with photos alone, but a shoot for every product, colour and season is slow and expensive. These skills cover the two parts of a short product video: the moving shot of the product itself, and the text that sells it.
What you can make
- A product in a new scene. Upload one photo of the product on a plain background and describe where it should appear: on a marble counter at sunrise, on a beach towel, on a desk next to a laptop. An AI video model animates the product in that scene with gentle camera motion.
- A title or offer card. A kinetic title clip for the opening line (“New: the travel mug that keeps coffee hot”) or the end card with the price and a call to action.
- A launch video. The Launch Video skill turns your screenshots and three or four feature lines into a promo with a hook, a scene per feature and a call to action; Logo Reveal makes the brand intro or end card.
- An app or site promo. Device Mockup Promo puts your real screenshots in a phone or laptop, one screen at a time with a caption, and ends on your call to action.
- Many versions fast. Change the scene sentence to get a clip for each season, sale or platform without a reshoot.
How the pieces fit
Product in Scene Ad is an AI model skill: it sends your photo and a tested prompt to a video model, and the result is copied to your account. Kinetic Type Title is a code video skill: your coding agent writes the animation as HTML and renders it to MP4 on your own computer, with no API cost. Put the two clips together in any editor, or ask your agent to join them.
Tips for better product clips
- Use a sharp photo with the whole product in frame and nothing else in it.
- Describe the scene in one plain sentence: the surface, the light and the time of day.
- Keep the clip short. Shorter clips cost less, and most product videos are watched for a few seconds.
- Keep the text out of the AI prompt. AI video models often garble letters; titles and prices made in code come out exact every time.
Where to use them
Shop product pages, marketplace listings, paid social ads, email headers and the first frame of a Shorts or Reels post. For vertical formats, see the Shorts and Reels skills; for ads in a creator style, see UGC ads.
What it costs
- Code skills: free. They render on your own computer, so there is no API cost.

Questions
- Do I need a video shoot?
- No. The Product in Scene Ad skill starts from one clear product photo and a sentence that describes the scene.
- Which AI model makes the clip?
- Product in Scene Ad uses Seedance 2.0, ByteDance's video model. Skills name the model, not the provider, so the model can move to a cheaper API later without changing the skill.
- Can I add my own title or price on top?
- Yes. The Kinetic Type Title skill is a free code video skill. It renders the text as its own clip on your computer, so you can put it before or after the AI clip in any editor.
- Who owns the videos?
- You do, subject to the AI model provider's terms. Only upload product photos you have the right to use.
