Nano Banana 2.1 prompts
Every prompt below ran once on Nano Banana 2.1 through Sume on 2026-11-05, at the 1K setting, and each picture is the first result, with no second tries and no retouching.
See the Nano Banana 2.1 page for what the model does and costs. To use it with nothing to install, try Film Look Image, which has a set job rather than a free prompt box.
1. A product photo with room for text

The prompt, shape 3:2
Studio product photo of a matte black ceramic coffee mug on a pale oak table, soft window light from the left, a thin curl of steam, shallow depth of field, clean empty background on the right for text. 85mm lens look. What we saw: Asking for empty space worked. Saying which side the light comes from and naming a lens gave it a calm studio look.
2. An overhead food shot

The prompt, shape 4:3
Overhead photo of a rustic loaf of sourdough on a floured wooden board, with a bread knife and a small dish of butter, warm morning light, crumbs scattered naturally, muted colours, no text. What we saw: Naming every object on the board kept it from filling the frame with extras. It added a cloth we didn't ask for.
3. A room with straight lines

The prompt, shape 16:9
Wide interior photo of a small Scandinavian living room, pale wood floor, a mustard wool sofa, one large plant, afternoon sun making window shapes on the wall, straight vertical lines, no people. What we saw: "Straight vertical lines" kept the walls upright. It also added a table, a rug and a shelf.
4. A sign with exact words

The prompt, shape 3:2
Street photo of a small corner bakery at dawn. Above the door, a painted wooden sign reads exactly "HONEST BREAD" in cream serif capital letters. Warm light from inside the shop, wet pavement, no people. What we saw: The sign came out spelled right. Quote the words and say "reads exactly". Check every letter anyway. One good result doesn't promise the next.
5. A landscape at golden hour

The prompt, shape 16:9
A wide landscape of terraced green hills at golden hour, long shadows, thin mist in the valley, one small stone farmhouse in the middle distance, realistic colours, shot from a low hill. What we saw: "One small" farmhouse gave one. Saying where the camera stands helped the sense of depth.
6. A flat poster illustration

The prompt, shape 4:5
A flat vector illustration of a bicycle leaning against a lamp post on a quiet street at dusk, limited palette of navy, coral and cream, clean shapes with no outlines, no text, poster style. What we saw: Naming three colours held the palette. It added houses and a moon, which suit the scene, but were our model's choice.
7. An isometric 3D miniature

The prompt, shape 1:1
An isometric 3D miniature of a tiny home office on a floating square base, desk, laptop, bookshelf, a window with a small plant, soft clay-like materials, gentle studio lighting, pastel background, no people, no text. What we saw: "Floating square base" and "clay-like" did most of the work. Use a square shape for this kind of scene.
8. A poster with numbered steps

The prompt, shape 3:4
A clean poster with three numbered steps for making tea. Large headline at the top reads exactly "MAKE BETTER TEA". Step 1 says "Boil water". Step 2 says "Steep 4 minutes". Step 3 says "Pour and enjoy". A simple icon beside each step, cream background, dark green text. What we saw: All the words came out right on this run, and it added small leaf decorations. For words you can't get wrong, such as a price, use code instead, as our hybrid skills do.
Questions
- Are these really what Nano Banana 2.1 made?
- Yes. Each one is the first result of that exact prompt, with no retouching. We only resized them for this page and saved them as WebP. Run the same prompt yourself and you'll get a different picture, as a model doesn't repeat itself.
- How much does one image cost?
- Sume listed $0.0336 per image at the 1K setting when we ran these on 2026-11-05, and all eight took $0.2697 from our balance. See the Nano Banana 2.1 page for current prices.
- Can I use these prompts for free?
- Yes, copy them and change them. Running one needs an account with an AI provider, or a Glidezo skill, and either costs money per image past any free runs. Check the model provider's terms before you use a result commercially.
- Why aren't there any people in these?
- We tested plain scenes and objects on purpose. Nano Banana 2.1 can draw people, but we didn't test that for this page, so we won't tell you what works.
- Will you add video prompts?
- Yes, that's planned. This page covers one image model so far, and we only publish prompts we have really run.
